1. Log on to Sallie Mae's site

2. Complete the online loan application and submit it for credit processing (approximate time for completion = 10 minutes)

3. Within 30 seconds, you will receive a web response

4. If the loan is approved, SLM Financial will email the following to you for the borrowers signature:
  * Disclosure Statement
  * Promissory Note
  * Pre-filled Loan Application

5. After certifying the loan documents (including the electronic application) and obtaining the borrowerís signature, you will send to SLM the following:
  * All Loan Documents
  * Borrowerís Recent Paystub (tax returns if self-employed)
  * Borrowerís Signed ID

6. SLM Financial will send the funds directly to the Institute on the provided disbursement date.
